Oh you asked "why" and not "where."

Motive was that theism is as obviously false as it is meaningless. We constantly operate as though theism is false. Why do we need disaster relief? Because God's not gonna provide it. Why do we need to concern ourselves with social justice? Because God's certainly not gonna see that justice is served. Why do we need the entire medical profession? Because God's not gonna answer a prayer for a loved one.

I don't even think theism would be cool if it was true. What difference would it make if agency were fundamental rather than emergent? Absolutely none.
