In General - yeah I mean, ultimately it will be my choice, but I kind of just want to see where people would go with this to maybe give me guidance! It's a big choice!
Legolas - not bad! He is the coolest bruh in LOTR.
Sagan - definitely legit! I feel like I don't know enough about Sagan though to justify it! Maybe my next cat after I've experienced his life's work.
Breitbart- I'm naming a cat, not a bowel movement.
Ishmael - That makes sense because he's so well-read. But I haven't read Moby Dick yet.
Oreo - he does look like an Oreo. Don't know if this was a name suggestion or an observation.
Tyrion - strong possibility! I could certainly go GoT if I don't go Tyrion; maybe "Bronn" is a possibility.
Kitty McKittenface - this would definitely be the most descriptive name. I'd be more inclined to go full out "Boaty McBoatface." But one word people one word!
BOST - I know that carrot is in a compromising position!
Dexter - a possibility! Has the added two-reference bonus of both the serial killer and the boy scientist!
Moriarty - would be cool! Unfortunately I'm more familiar with Moriarty's Bar in Philly than with Professor Moriarty in Doyle.
Joker/Harley - well Joker would be neat but I don't want him to be a psychopath. Harley Quinn would be too evocative of a female character. Not that I have any problem if he decides he doesn't identify with his initially assigned gender, it's just that I don't want to force him into any choices.
Milo - If I name him this is have the irresistible urge to punch his smug manipulative face every time I saw him. I'd go to jail, he'd revel in the publicity, having gotten exactly what he wanted, and everyone will lose except the immature alt-right basement dwellers. And we can't have that
Hmmmmmm will continue to think. If it was a girl cat it would probably be Lyra or Luna or Suzie Bishop. Those would be easier.

How will we know, when the morning comes, we are still human? - 2D
Don't worry, my friend. If this be the end, then so shall it be.
