Last night, my stepdad and I went to dinner, and we were sitting in a booth, minding our own business, having a political conversation. A lady from the next booth over walked by us and said something like, "everyone has something to say", and on her way back from the bathroom or wherever, gave us a dirty look.
My awesome stepdad couldn't let it go, so when we got up to leave, he stopped and said to her, "I'm so sorry if our private conversation upset you". She took that to mean we wanted to talk about our political leanings with her, but her husband shot her down. It rocked.
