Walter White is my favorite character in anything ever...mostly because of Bryan Cranston. It's the only show/film where I forgot I was watching somebody act. The BB writing team and Cranston has this amazing ability to make me feel like Walt was real...I have never been so invested in a character in a show or film before. I loved watching Breaking Bad so much and I miss it. Watching the final season as it aired was such a spectacular experience. I don't think I'll ever experience such strong attachment to a TV show/character ever again.
It's not about a guy cooking meth, it's about who we are at our core, what we will do to get what we want, how we convince ourselves of things that we might never know isn't actually true until it's too late. It's about pride. It's about our inability to control everything. It's about acceptance. And a man's very intense and very gruesome path to realizing that.
