Shitty metaphor is shitty. Wind is inevitable. If you leave for work and there's a gallon of gas on your lawn and a box of matches in your drive should you be charged for arson when someone else burns your house down?
Just like I wouldn't walk out into the woods at night wearing a steak suit......crap I can't take this one off.
Scratch that, I'm not going to put myself in harms way by going to where the wolves are, looking like a hot snack.
But if I do go out dancing with wild animals, they will know I am watching them too without fear. I'm part electric eel and bombardier beetle with the capacity to shock the shit out of someone or douse them with noxious burning chemical spray should any of them try and mess with me. I'll have trained with them before hand and be very confident their use.
Lions are not big kitties, wolves are not big puppies and humans are the most cunning of all predators. Underestimate them at your own risk. The situation is more fundamental than party blaming.
Say I'm walking along some abandoned alley in a run down neighborhood and a man rushes me with a knife. Is the situation my fault for being there or his fault for being homicidal? Does it matter that he's an addict or starving or truly insane? NO. The only thing that matters is not getting stabbed by any means necessary and if there are things I can to lessen the risk of getting stabbed and/or capacitate the potential stabber, I will do them.
