You cannot formulate a plan that involves sacrificing any of the clones because then you will all have the same plan.
So I would take as many clones as it takes to fill half the room.
As soon as we're all in we piggy back each other to look taller and intimidate the gorilla into a corner.
Then we wait for it to sleep.
Some of us take off some of our clothes and make ropes.
Then half of us move to the opposite side of the gorilla, quietly.
The other half wakes up the gorilla and keeps it's attention on them.
The half in the opposite corner moves in behind it, slings the rope around it's neck and chokes it to death.
