Well, London traffic is probably the worst in the U.K. I once went to Wembley for a work conference and got stuck for 3 hours going around 3 miles inside the M25 (the motorway/highway that circles around the city). I'd say stay with the underground but that'd be probably worse
Nah, I'm sorry, I don't mean to belittle the place. It's a great city and you'd see so little even in a week of being there it's so huge. My mom loves it still so it can't be all that bad. But definitely go to the V&A. You can walk down the road and be in Knightsbridge and see Harrods, with all the millionaires spending £5000 on their weekly shopping. Quite crazy really. They do lovely cakes if you don't mind spending £20 for a couple of slices.
