Faith is believing in something that is has no evidence to provide for it's existence.
The Christian makes the claim that god is real on faith, according to the above description.
The atheist makes the claim, not that god does not exist, but rather that there is no evidence for god.
Unless, of course, you come across me. The anti-theist, because I will straight up inform you that there is no god.
