According to religion, yes.
It doesn't make much sense to me that we're all playing. More likely just one of us is. If it's me, I fucking want out. Wherever I really am must suck balls though if I signed up for this...
It's an unfalsifiable premise. It seems a less plausible explanation to me than our reality being some sort of simulation/experiment in which parts have become "self aware". Nothing about us screams design, that's for sure.
