I love how you guys have nothing left but to point the finger at democrats who have done similar things. As if that proves something either in principle, or to me personally. In principle, that's called a Tu quoque fallacy. Personally, I don't identify as democrat.
If the Tu quoque fits....I think your Tu quoque response is just something for you to hide behind when it's pointed out that your guys are just as guilty of the same offense that you accused others of. The ol', people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, thing.
Really? We're going to defend logical fallacies now? No. They don't reasonably "fit" anywhere. "Your guy did it too" is a logically fallacious response to an actual point. End of story.
Also, Bill Clinton is not "my guy." I was like...16 when he was elected into office. His term has been done and over with for some time now. He's not on the ballot. Pointing to his similar faults accomplishes absolutely nothing as far as putting forth a logical defense for your current candidate. If Bill Clinton were running for office today, surrounded by the SAME scandal; the same sexual assault allegations; I'd be saying the exact same thing about him as I'm saying about Trump. I don't want a sexual predator in office. I don't care who's name and face he's attached to. (And that's not even close to the only reason I hate the guy. I can throw racist, xenophobic, immature egomaniac with impulse control issues in there too, but that could be a whole other thread, lol).
So, not only is it a logical fallacy, it also makes you out to be a terrible hypocrite if all you have to say is, "yeah, well, Bill was just horrible as the candidate I support! Therefore...vote Trump!" Do you realize how dumb that sounds?
