The USA is destroying its own economy without needing any help from anyone else.
In fact all economies will be destroyed as we enter the long emergency. All economies are driven by energy. Demand increases over time and as the energy source is depleted the costs start to rise.
maybe, (the world going back to smaller localized communities) IF we can not break our dependence of foreign oil. However there will be quite a few steps between now and then. One being a push to globalize (put all of our resources in a pile) and among other things develop other energy sources. making solar more efficient, next gen batteries, redevelopment of steam propulsion. ect. If we can make any of that work then we will remain or push for further global expansion.
But inorder for the US to willingly go into a global market we must be past the point of being able to sustain ourselves. There is no other reason to literally spend more money in one presidential term than every other president combined, and then the next person in line promise to double down on the spending...
We are almost to the point of no return, if elected Clinton will break this country, by design. all in a bid to force America to a larger global community. which means the document that governs the US get put aside for a the world constitution.
