When it gets down to brass tacks, and SCOTUS candidates of a conservative bent are finally realized by Trump to be spoiling to rule against all manner of things he wants to do, he is assuredly going to rethink his criteria.
I hope you (or anyone else with a brain) won't count on that on election day. I agree that Trump will only do what benefits him personalty. If he wants two terms, fulfilling his promise to the religious right will benefit him.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
