It -still- shouldn't be. There are rights...and maybe even privilege, that you feel this Trump election will cost you. Grab that feeling, hold onto it - they've been feeling that way for awhile. Whether you agree or disagree with their position...that's the feeling.
I know that you think they voted against their interests...but Trump was at least talking to them. The DNC has long ago abandoned them and Hillary decided she didn't -need- them (a familiar narrative to the angry white male)...she wasn't even speaking to them. That might explain why even the college educated white male went to hillary.
I said I find it hard, not that I don't at all.
But yeah, racist bigots? Hard to empathize with. Don't make me the bad guy here. I want people to be able to be who they want to be, even the bigots have that right. But they don't want the same things I want, they only want THEMSELVES to have those rights.
