The LA times can call the economy whatever it likes but if they pretend that Obama didn;t exceed the campaign promises of his rivals they;d just be lying.  So, wtf are you babbling about, now?

All that matters is whether voters want a change or not. And that depends on how well the economy has been performing under the outgoing administration; in this case, the Obama administration.

Well, I doubt that;s al that matters...but if what voters wanted was a change they;re going to be disappointed.  Wealth will now transfer more quickly and expeditiously from the poor to the rich.  That was, after all, a campaign promise Trump made...and unless you think he;s a lying peice of shit that -din;t- plan to tax the poor to enrich the rich, as he said he did.....then...wtf...are you babbling about....now?

For the last, agonizing  six months, the airwaves and newspapers have been filled with political prognoses. Every commentator claimed special insight into how voters would cast their ballots and why. Most of them were wrong, of course. And according to economic theory, completely irrelevant. None of the political factors the pundits cited ad nauseum even enter the best economic models.

I'd disagree.  I'd say that they were right.  Hillary just blew an easy victory

Simply put, Clinton lost because the economy under President Obama did not perform well enough to meet Fair’s thresholds of happiness.  Economic growth was anemic for nearly all of the last eight years. As a result, job creation lagged far behind the records set during other post-recession recoveries. 

Still beat his political opponents promises.....and, of, he'll -have- done a better job than trump on that count..what with trumps plans being to, apparently bring back jobs from a place they aren't even -at- anymore. / shrugs


I know, I know, all this talk about economics you don;t understand..to avoid what you'd already acknowledged earlier...that you had "other" problems with obama.  You're so eager to imagine that you're arguing with you political opposition it never occurs to you that I don't think that Obama did anything of note for the working class as regards the economy...I know he didn't...and Trump will do even less than that, just as he said he would, lol.  You;re just a fucking moron who didn;t know the numbers in the first place, and has incorrectly interpreted trumps economic plan as beneficial to you....like so many others, lol.  We are going to lose money, and the tax burden will fall increasingly on the poor...who have no money to begin with.  How trump plans to pay for walls and bridges and all of that other shit...by squeezing the rock of your wallet and head..is a mystery...but you think he;s gonna do it...because, I guess, you've conflated him with some other guy, who could turn water into wine.

You can pomp and posture alll you like sport.. bottom line? You are going to just have to wait and see like everyone else. I can tell you about obama's failures as a president till you are blue in the face, but again as the article points out. It all comes down to money. If people are happy with the ecconomy they do not make changes unless it is a matter of war. If they are not happy they seek change from the other party.

Like it or not obama fan or not your horse lost this race because the last one from that stock also under performed.

And as far as obama's race is concerned he is one of my people Not one or the other but a mix.
