Is Atheism Intellectual Cowardice?

Quite frankly, the difference between an atheist and a theist is this: Atheists generally believe that the most logical/the most proven position on the existance of god, and would probably become converts if god actually existed and showed off some definite miracles, while theists sit there pouting every time evidence is brought to contradict their belief and refuse to acknowledge the evidence while every time there is a shred of proof for their position, even if it has been debunked over and over and over, they jump on it and keep repeating it over and over.
