Motherfuckers not knowing how shit works is the whole problem. Memory ain't about opening up a scrapbook and looking at a photograph. It's more like running a program to create a scene. You know how you get better at a task with practice? Same deal with the memory algorithm in the ol' brain. The more these memories become reinforced the clearer they seem. Add in some chemical context and there's nothing surprising about it seeming extra-special profound. I mean, eleven years later I'm still on atheist forums ranting about being a prophet.
