Atheism is the lack of belief in gods, that's it. Not necessarily the belief that there is no gods, but it can be. Everything else is you projecting. No science, no certainty.
Can you explain how "Atheism is the lack of belief in gods" and "Not necessarily the belief that there is no gods" are different? Aren't they the same thing? Sorry for bothering, I just don't get it.
All Atheists lack belief in god(s). That's what the very word means. We do not deny god(s) existence, as that would insinuate there is a god to deny.
There is a serious lack of evidence for the existence of any god(s), which is the heart of Atheism. Some people are Atheist for that reason alone. Others will assert that there isn't, or never were, any god(s); since they are the most preposterous, illogical, meaningless, and completely irrelevant concepts ever created by human beings.
You should do some research on Atheist Agnostic (Weak Atheist), and Atheist Gnostic (Strong Atheist). You should research Ignosticism, while you're at it, and also accept that there are people who just don't care one way or another.
