Apart from that, take a moment to do some real comparison. Such as looking up what Marxism actually is as compared to Bernie Sanders. Also at alt right and the latest highlights of their gatherings. Numerous videos to choose from to get the sound to go with the pictures. I leave it at the pictures for the moment.
The difference from classical liberalism or left was that in 50s reformed marxism of socialism happend in frankfurt school germany, this became more popular during the vietnam war in 60s and 70s on colleges and universities (Which i linked too) The alt right is most likely a reaction to how it has evolved into, which is an alternative right wing conservative movement.
They figured if they can be loud enough they will win, much like the new left in present time. Which is why i think politics in the past sounds somewhat better for that reason. Not that i like politics or the past so much in general.
