Hmm...things religion has done that I find scandalous...

How about disclaimer stickers on biology textbooks? Posthumous baptism strikes me as a scandal to the jaybirds as well. The burning, drowning, pressing and hanging of 'witches'. Sexual abuse. Sexual repression. Classing masturbation as a sin. Guilt ('EVERYTHING is YOUR fault'). The twin concepts of heresy and infidelity.

Too many scandals to go on with. I suppose that the all-inclusive scandal of which religion is guilty would probably be, 'Promoting religion.'
