A kid on my childhood street and Trump

A kid on my childhood street and Trump
Growing up on that street was horrible, my only interaction until high school were bullies. But being sensitive and wanting to fit in I thought if I could just try harder, and blamed myself, maybe I could fit in.

So there was this one asshole kid named Garth, whom invited me over to play chess. I didn't know a damned thing about it. Looking back at it, I don't think he did either at the time. But I was trusting so he set up the board, and explained the pieces, both of us being maybe 7 or 8 at best. But again, looking back at it now, I think he just simply wanted to convey he was smart.

So we began. I moved a piece, then all the sudden he says, "You cant do that", I say, "Ok, then try to move another piece. The he takes a piece from his back row, with pieces in front of it, jumps over the rook all the way to my back row, jumping over my rook. I don't know what the fuck is going on, but move one rook, then he takes the pieces off my back row one by one.

Quick game I should say. So he resets the pieces and proceeds to pull the same crap. What does this have to do with Trump? Let me clarify, it has to do with the GOP moreso over the past 36 years, Trump is simply the apex topped off with the icing of bigotry and demagoguery at WW2 levels.

The GOP has been masters at getting voters to vote against their own self interests. Orwellian fashion, "Up is down, left is right" When you smell something funny going on, magically their shell game rules suddenly become different.

The GOP has been playing America for 36 years, and holding democrats hostage causing our politicians to be forced to compromise with Garth Vader. But, it is our fault as democratic voters as well to some degree. Workers, both republican and democrat need to stop taking the bait of urban vs rural, black vs white. Oh yes, racism DOES exist, but Garth Vader wants to pit the urban black rook against the rural white rook, so he can cheat and rob both blacks and whites so they don't see the entire chess board collapsing under them.

We have elected a toddler, whom acts like a kid who wants to show off, whom wants to hide his insecurities by bluffing. Much like Garth was just pretending to know. Trump is a toddler, a master toddler like Garth had convinced me I simply didn't know what I was doing to make himself feel dominate even though in reality he was cheating.

Even outside Trump or his fraud case, his stiffing investors and sexual assault accusations and failed businesses, we see his behavior in everyday crime with countless cases. We know that even the smartest people who save their pennies and balance their checkbooks, I have to admit, I am not one of them, but even those people get suckered. Madoff is the biggest example of a convicted con, Trump simply is someone with more popularity and more lawyers. Maddoff pissed off his own class too. I don't know why so many put up with Trump in his class.

Trump is Garth, the mice print of Corporate America that basically allows them to say "Well you didn't have a plaid octopus in your yard at 5am so sucks to be you." But this time, his grifting has the gas on the fire of demagoguery and scapegoating which now, makes if far worse for the future.
