Now I'm confused, are you saying candidates do have a right to your vote?
Look, I get your point that voting for Clinton over one of the third parties would have been a great way to prevent Trump, but I don't think it's as simple as saying that if those third parties hadn't existed, Clinton would have won. Neither of us have very many stats to go off, but I would be surprised if Stein or Johnson voters were Democrat-leaning to the point that they would make an effort to get out and vote for Clinton, because if they were, they would have done so.
I found several articles the other day that 90% of Sanders voters were planning on voting for Clinton, but those articles were from just after the convention, so I'm not sure how that actually panned out.
