They say they're not trying to recreate Mythbusters, but I don't believe them. I mean, there's not any myths being busted. It's just too...superficial. They do like 6 half tests instead of three good ones. There's no build explication, they just show what they've already built.
Overall, it's very pithy, but I like those three so much it's worth it for me. They work well together, so I'll give it a full season to let them get into their swing.
