But you might call it southern American food while there's someone in south America who doesn't like that food and run into the same problems you're against relating to the term "Chinese food." Same goes for southern food. Not every person from South America or the south eats that food.
But there is no racial, ethnic, connotations it's what people in certain region of north America white black whatever eat it's not tied to one group or one culture or weather all eat said food it's food that happens to originate from that region
Example Ontario pork is pork raised in Ontario it's not Black White Asian it's pork from a region see the difference
In that sense, yeh I do get your point. But as far as racism goes I still see no implication of superiority or inferiority in associating specific foods with certain races or nationalities.
Unless it's obviously meant to insult, like saying all Koreans eat dogs, or Americans are fat.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
