Some of them do that, yes, and I wouldn't be friends with those people either. There will always be crazy people on all sides, and I wouldn't support behavior like this from anyone. But for the Clinton voters, I can at least understand the reason, since Trump and his administration is threatening to tear down a lot of good and important elements in their lives, such Obamacare, Planned Parenthood and gay rights.
The difference between the riots and Trump's bullying, is that Trump is in a position of power and privilege, while the rioters are scared and angry people who are at risk of losing fundamental rights. In my book, that still makes Trump worse.
