Depends on what you consider beautiful or your culture does
Men don't care about looking good ?
Obviously culture and self perception has a lot to do with it but in general terms straight men wearing make up would do poorly with straight women, though there will always be exceptions.
Men definitely care about looking good but not all men do! It's just that men and women care about different things. Men for one that do care about looking good try to build a muscular masculine physique whereas women generally hate muscles and prefer to look more feminine.
