Since childhood I had a frequent , reoccuring mushroom cloud nightmare. ( Born in late 1950's).  Bil! Clinton made a comment around 1986 or so,  that the threat of nuclear annihilation was over. The nightmares ceased. Of course I was left with other less catastrophic imagery thanks to Clinton but no Atomic Apocolypses. If Trump causes these dreams to renew I am voting straight socialist from now on !
