Question about death to Atheists.

That's an interesting question, and I agree with you. One thing though: I didn't actually associate this question with God. I kind of thought that maybe it was actually the spirit of the person telling my mother that he or she passed on. However, after more thought, I kind of think that there may be another explanation (assuming it was not a coincidence) that we do not know of.

What for? Why would those spirits contact your mom?

I'm not sure. It was something my family always thought. Maybe they thought the spirit was visiting when the physical body died. I don't fully know why either. I am just reporting that it occurred more times than I am willing to just pass off as "coincidence". It could be, but the more it happens, the less likely it is. I am almost wondering if there is something else at play but something we as humans are not aware of yet.
