Just because some christians lost their belief doesn't mean its all going to end in a couple of decades. On the other side, Islam is gaining followers like lady gaga's facebook page. What i'm concerned is about Europe and N.America, especially US and UK. Conversion of christians to other religions like Islam is accelerating every year.
I said this just to point out that there's much happening outside christianity, that while some Christians lose their belief, some choose another.
I'm an atheist, but sometimes i even doubt if religions will disappear completely from our culture. Its a nice prediction, something we all like to see happen, but sadly its not going to happen.
Religion has already dramatically shrunk from 100 years ago. Religion will always be with us, yet just not in the majority 20 years from now, like it today. Just ask the majority of the people anywhere on the western world streets today. Most will tell you deep down they are somewhat spiritual rather than religious. Most Christian believe, most people will go to hell, if you are a so so type Christian, why even bother when a Christian majority country like USA and their behavior is more like Sodom and Gomorrah than anywhere else. Not a great way to get to heaven with, anyways
A greater awareness will finally come to light
