Good article, thanks.  Well, they have a memorial down there @ ~290 Broadway, after they dug up some former slave bones at a discontinued construction site.  Maybe I can get my thread back up and running.  NY State at one point was only second to the state of SC in total #s of African slaves.

No slaves, no capitalism, the latter needs chattel slaves to work, for it to work.  Today they have a "nicer" term:  "human trafficking"
