Whilst the result has significant consequences the difference between those who voted leave and those who voted remain is not as intractable as has been portrayed by the media, and the result was very much in the balance.
It's blatantly absurd to portray half the population as half-wit nazis.
Scotland voted in favour of staying in the EU by 62% to 38%, literally every area won a majority. You could make the argument that the UK voted together as a whole, because they did, but that doesn't mean the concerns of those in Scotland should be ignored.
