I just kind of skimmed through the couple of pages, the first couple of weeks, you are going to be hungry pretty much constantly if you're doing a substantial calorie reduction (e.g
1-2lbs a week, 500-1000 calories per day).
Celery, carrots, cucumbers, dill pickles, lettuce, cabbage - and most other vegetables are your key to gorging yourself through this period. You can't slather it in fat, but you can make some tasty stuff from raw and steamed vegetables that you can eat in nearly unlimited quantity. A small amount of salt, garlic, and a minimum of olive oil can do a lot to bring flavor to the table. Overcooking destroys flavor, texture, and nutritional value so don't do that.
A nice crisp apple makes an excellent snack if you need something sweet. Buy good ones, ya cheapskate. Or bananas. Some of you don't like bananas, excellent - more for me. Point is, eat lots of stuff from the produce department. Fiber FTW.
