How can you be so wrong about something so basic?  Humans are animals.

Boru

Dreamy eyed theists of all labels like to think we are masters of the planet. They don't like being called "animals" because they stupidly think it is the same word evolutionary biology uses.

Theist, "Animal= something that is robotic, lacks emotions and empathy and just does".

Evolutionary science, "Animal=one species among many".

Humans are very capable of violence and crime. Just like other species kill to eat, or evolve to steal resources. But other species ALSO show empathy and emotions and cooperation and compassion.

The only thing humans have is bigger brains and more complex language.

We live on this planet, we don't own it. We adjust to the planet but also abuse it and each other. Humans are far too widely still self centered in ignoring that we are NOT special.

We are one species among many, with the same behaviors of cooperation and cruelty other species display. Nobody is saying humans should default to being cruel or violent, just that we observe those actions.
