Something didn't come from nothing. The universe is about change, not creation. There is X amount of energy/mass in the universe, and it is eternal. So where everything came from isn't a valid question. The big bang is interesting, the process is interesting, and someday perhaps we will understand that process. But it really has nothing to do with atheism.
If by some chance white holes exist, which is doubtful, it doesn't negate the position of atheism, nor does it vindicate theism, as neither of the latter have anything to do with the theory, nor the truth concerning the process. It did not come from a god, therefore atheism and theism have nothing to do with it.

"In our youth, we lacked the maturity, the decency to create gods better than ourselves so that we might have something to aspire to. Instead we are left with a host of deities who were violent, narcissistic, vengeful bullies who reflected our own values. Our gods could have been anything we could imagine, and all we were capable of manifesting were gods who shared the worst of our natures."-Me
"Atheism leaves a man to sense, to philosophy, to natural piety, to laws, to reputation; all of which may be guides to an outward moral virtue, even if religion vanished; but religious superstition dismounts all these and erects an absolute monarchy in the minds of men." – Francis Bacon
