I used to be able to eat so much and my metabolism would keep up and not let it just sit around making me lumpy. When I was really hungry it was satisfying to sit down with a huge portion and eat until I felt full. But now I know I will soon not feel hungry after eating a modest portion. Even if I go too long between meals and get light headed and empty feeling, the hunger will soon dissipate after eating a recommended portion. I won't feel uncomfortably full but is that really such a loss? Eating slower helps too so that the feeling of no longer being hungry has a chance to register before you over eat.
Breakfast today - same as always, a cup of cooked steel cut oatmeal and killer fruit with walnuts.
Lunch today - two thin slices of Dave's killer seeded bread, TJ's curried chicken salad, mustard, cheese and two sandwich slices of bread and butter pickles along a with a Snyder's lunch pack of pretzels and a diet coke.
Cup of tea with cookies count so far: 2
Dinner - leaning toward a half a TJ's Eda Mame and Kale salad and a tamale. For dessert a mango mochi of course.
