There's been so many different predictions of who was the antichrist that I'm sure it's a long, long list. I remember way back when Clinton got elected, some right-wing nutjob preachers were claiming that he was the antichrist who was going to head the one-world government. Of course, Obama being a darkie Muslim and all, makes a much better candidate for AC to the right-wing tinfoil hat crowd.
Because it detracts from what God really wants: To get rid of gays, abortion, minorities, and all non-Christians; enslaving the poor; and forcing the world to become a fascist theocratic Christian state.
