BBC Wrote:UK Prime Minister Theresa May has announced plans to call a snap general election on 8 June.
She said Britain needed certainty, stability and strong leadership following the EU referendum.
Kiss goodbye to any chance of the Tories coming to their senses and a deal being made.

Can't see anything anything other than a strong Tory win, probably with Libdems overtaking Labour as opposition, plus gains for the SNP in Scotland. The only silver lining is a heavy defeat for Labour might force Corbyn to resign and enable a credible (I.e. electable) leader to emerge.

Well if Corbyn goes it'll be a Blairite as next Labour leader, and that'll be about as successful as the Tories picking Thatcherite leaders after 1997. Edit: just to say I don't think Corbyn is a wothwhile Labour leader either, his best bet was to have groomed a competent fellow leftie as his successor.
