The only kind of gun I ever had were squirt guns.
When guns are not for sale at any corner shop, the fear that you may be assaulted by someone with a gun isn't that great. With that absence of fear, the perceived need to own a gun for protection is also pretty low.
Maybe this is a European luxury, as you guys keep snowballing the problem on that side of the pond. I keep inviting you guys to come over to the better continent... Sure, we have our problems, too... But i never said it was perfect, here.
