I can only agree when you are talking about far right bigots that it is normal to feel a sense of relief when they are no longer around to spew their toxic crap, but revenge solves nothing.
If Trump kicked over from a heart attack, I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be happy. I was happy when Falwell died. But there is still a difference between "happy" as in sense of relief, and "happy" in an attitude of revenge.
I'd say the trick to defeating these right wing sickos is raising our voices with criticism and blasphemy and satire and ridicule but not attitudes of revenge.
