Sir Roger Moore dead at 89
Old news that comes up on Facebook at odd times. Facebook keeps us on our toes. Thanks, Zuck!

You're nearly a year late with this. Old news.

I personally have a hard time with identifying a favorite Bond actor. I think Moore was the most sophisticated of them of all. Bond was often portrayed as intelligent and knowledgeable beyond belief. I think Moore pulled that aspect of the Bond character off better than any of the others.

My favorite scene with Moore was when he shoots his would-be assassin out of a tree near the beginning of Moonraker at long range with a shotgun. It's ridiculously unlikely but it's Bond.

Ha.  For once when I thought "wasn't he dead already," I was right!

I remember watching 'The Saint' tv series through a crack in the door when mum and dad thought I was asleep.

He wasn't the best actor in the world, but as a kid the first Bond I saw was Live and Let Die, so yeah, he's Bond in my heart.

That's what I'm like with Tom Baker in Dr Who.

I can still remember him as Beau Maverick, cousin to Bret and Bart Maverick...
