You can't tell from the video if it was running, but anyway I think this is a completely ridiculous stance. She was getting gas. There is nothing wrong with leaving the car unlocked while you are getting gas. Do you always lock the car when doing this? Poll people and ask them if they do.

In theory you should be able to leave you car or house unlocked, but that is not reality.

I have empathy for her reaction I think any rational person would, but it simply was not the best idea.

I think people are very shitty and judgmental to each other. She was right there, pumping gas. There is nothing "incredibly casual" about it.
We apparently disagree on this.

I think it's very shitty of you to partially blame her for this incident.
