Astute point, except that I think Trump is too prideful to "allow" anyone to do anything.
But you're spot-on in the implication that he is a tool to be used, and discarded when his utility runs out. Spot-on.
Trumps "leadership style" reminds of prime minster RB Bennett (he was PM during the depression ) He was often criticized to being over bearing and arrogant and autocratic when it came to decision making . And may very well have extended to depression by 5 years in Canada . I think there is a lesson there .
