Because the verses that preach violence are more fitting to describe violent behavior.

Quran (2:191-193) - "And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing... but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun(the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)"

But who are these people the verse is speaking about?
Go back one verse to find:

Sura 2, Page 29, The Quran:
( 190 )   Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors.

The fight is against those who fight us; i.e soldiers.
British civilians have nothing to do with it, unless the reader of the verse has a serious problem in their heads.

If the terrorist has the slightest respect to God or the faith he claims he holds. then he should read and think twice before acting. How is a terrorist is willing to respond to verse 190 of Sura 2 ?

Killing civilians is transgression. Unless the terrorist has super powers that allows them to read thoughts.

British and American soldiers are in Iraq. They are equipped with fighting Jets, M4 carbines, Javelin rockets and more, not just them; Arabs and other Muslims fight to their side also; Russia is also there with her troops; there's a Salad in the Middle East. But fighting Muslims is not limited to the west; Muslims also fight Muslims. ISIS loves to behead other Muslims. 

So isn't it a bit retarded to kill some British gal in London, to avenge the fallen in Baghdad?? or slaughter a London resident, because a Muslim in Syria was killed by another Muslim? Just because the killer didn't flip the page while reading the Quran, to see verse 190 of Sura 2 ?

Religion is a poison! Face it! We will never achieve world peace if we cling to iron age superstitions as a source of morality or politics.
