By the idea of god, maybe. By the fear of god. Or by the wanting of a reward of heaven. But not an actual god.
And you jump in on that regarding the good inspired by religion, but not the violence inspired religion, because...?
Oh yeah, if there is no god, then religions are man-made, but you guys want to somehow believe that deep down people are good, but they created religions, which are evil.
