All right cut it out. Maybe I should have gotten irritated, maybe I shouldn't have. If Sae doesn't care, then she doesn't care. I find it hard to believe it's necessary to pick over a few words here or there on a blog post where the person feels incredibly strong about what they are writing and were probably in an emotional state when composing. I didn't notice that many errors when reading it, although I like Shell find that too many takes away from the credibility.
My irritation comes from dismissing it altogether when we have members like Red Baron who are in situations that could have been similar. And didn't I read something about 8bit having a problem?
Notice last night I wasn't having a problem about the thread being hijacked either, although to be fair I had an onset migraine, felt sick and was dealing with emotional turmoil and really didn't care. I do thank Moros for moving it. This morning I was still reeling from the side effects of my first experience with Imitrex, which my body apparently couldn't handle. Not the best state of mind for posting.
But Leo is right, and it's something I do feel strongly about - particularly because there are children out there experiencing the same thing. I didn't put it here to make light of. I did it because non-members find this place and hopefully will read the blog posting.
So read it and respond in at least a partially serious light, or write it off and forget about it. Most of you know I'm one of the most sarcastic and flippant members on here, and I've done my fair share of thread derailment. I'm not averse to a little joking. Sometimes though, sometimes, your Queen needs to get a serious weight off her shoulders.
So I'm sorry Sae, but that struck a nerve.
And while I do think people should toughen themselves up the best they can, no one is an island and everyone needs help once in a while. If posting this here does nothing but reveal to someone that they are not alone in their struggle and bolsters them just that much to be able to weather through, it would be enough.
