Yes...supposedly reasonable and fair according to Christians.

There's a lot of Christians, so I suppose there are some who say that. I don't, and in my reading neither does the Bible say that God is reasonable and fair in the sense you're using those terms. Rather, God is holy and just on the one hand, and merciful and gracious on the other.

That's the assertion.  And what followed was my answer to your question which was:  what do I think god should have done, assuming for the sake of the argument that this assertion is true.  

Your answer boils down to, God should simply change his thinking on what's right and wrong to match my thinking on the subject. Yet, if I said you should simply change to match God's judgment, you'd likely protest that you can't simply change your beliefs.
