- I drink alcohol, but not every day and generally only 1 serving. On special occasions, 2-3 times a year, I may have 3 glasses of wine; that's the most I ever drink. I also decided when I got my driver's license that I would never drink and drive, and in the 15+ years I've been driving I've never violated that rule.
- Not interested in any form of illicit drugs, and I've never smoked tobacco.
- My house mortgage and car loan are both paid in full. I have 1 credit card that's usually paid off every month with no missed payments. Utility bills are all current. Savings and investments are by auto-withdrawals twice a month, and in total I'm putting away about 25% of my take-home pay.
- Attendance record at work is close to 100%, and I'm usually in the office 15 minutes before start time. On the rare occasion that I am late, usually because of a bus problem, I make up the missed time. Also regularly on time for band practices and performances, for music lessons, and for other group activities.
- Not currently in a relationship, but I have a strong preference for monogamy.
- I have arthritic knee and foot joints that make it painful to exercise, but I like to do some sort of outdoors activity on Sundays (a long walk in the warm weather, snowshoeing in the wintertime). Sometimes I go to the gym or go swimming, and in the summer I'm out working in the garden several days a week.
- House is mostly tidy, except for a room currently being renovated. Dishes and laundry are done regularly.
- I do like to eat out now and then, but most meals are prepared at home from scratch. Good selection of healthy stuff in the pantry, and I keep on top of expiry dates and clear out old stuff regularly. Supper leftovers usually get taken for lunch the next day. Usual beverages are black coffee, tea with a bit of milk (no sugar in either of them), or tap water (plain or with a squeeze of lemon).
