RE: Theists, tell me, an atheist, why your God has neglected to show himself to me?

Just go back, ya'll and read the OP. Don't blame me for calling him out. He isn't even open to the possibility that there is a God and makes all kinds excuses for not doing so. Is divine hiddeness a real issue that needs to be addressed by theists? Sure. And maybe we could have that conversation but not with someone who has clearly already made up his mind and closed off any willingness to be persuaded otherwise.
Initially, I was going to take a pass on this thread because clearly the poster isn't serious. Maybe I should have. It grates on me that the rest of you cannot acknowledge that the OP is being an even bigger ass than me. It's that kind of group think, the unwillingness of atheist AF members to call out each other no matter how inane another atheist is, that makes me want to stop participating on AF altogether. For Pete's sake try to think for yourselves. Most of the Christians on AF are willing to debate each other on theological points despite the atheist heckling on the sidelines. Seems to me we're the real free thinkers and not you batch. (rant over)
