A big problem is the criticism is over the top and absurd. Some lady posts about Ben Carson and in wanders some wacko with a diatribe about smoke and fire and evil.
It's not "Trump sure does lie a lot." Or "Trump is pretty scummy around women." It's TRUMP IS JUST LIKE HITLER! And TRUMP ADMITTED HE RAPES PEOPLE!
Everything is over-the-top and has the volume turned up to 11. And then when screaming unsolicited nonsense into people's faces doesn't magically make them come to your side, you get together with the other screamers, and puzzle over how people are so stupid not to be swayed by your wisdom.
