Kudos to you sir. You discussed the post unlike the others. Also Kudos on admitting that we dont know all yet and not being like many other atheist I'm sure to get that believe there is solid evidence that makes Atheism a fact of some kind.

Atheist means only a lack of belief in god(s) NOTHING ELSE IS IMPLIED OR MAY BE INFERRED. The term comes from the Greek word 'atheos'; a=without, theos=God.

Atheism is NOT; a religion,a philosophy, a political ideology,a system of ethics, a world view ,a movement or a club.

I call myself 'an agnostic atheist'. I assert "I do not believe in gods due to lack of credible evidence" I do not claim to KNOW. You may have noticed that I make no claims of any kind.That means I have no burden of proof,I need prove exactly nothing.That honour belongs 100% to you,as the person making the claims.

I'm also a skeptic (look it up) My atheism is one of the results of my skepticism, not the cause of any other life position.

My position: You believe in God(s)? How wonderful for you!(and I mean that sincerely).You would like me to share your beliefs? No problem;simply show me your evidence to support your claims.If you are unable to do that ,please stop wasting my time and fuck off.

That nobody in recorded history has so far managed to prove or falsify the existence of God (s) is not my problem,it merely means I'm unable believe.


Now I don't mean to be unkind in mentioning the bleedin' obvious,but you have joined an atheist discussion forum. Explicit is the idea that you will make some attempt at civilised conversation, without preaching or attacking our members. If you are unable to comply ,you will be banned. Overall, on this,and most atheist forums,theists are treated with far more respect and acceptance than atheists tend to be on theist forums of any kind.

To be honest, I do not agree with our tolerant policy. If I had my way,theists would be banned on sight,as atheists usually are on theist sites. We owe you nothing.
