Hmn, how was it that Pliny summarized christers and jesusism? Ah yes, harmless practices, in accord with depraved, excessive superstition. It wasn;t even a religion, as far as he could tell..and, given the timeframe..it probably -wasn't- recognizable as a religion then. Just a bunch of disparate simpletons that a governor saw no reason to kill for their simplicity alone.
